the Beginning ... to the present
Sander Umformtechnik GmbH & Co.
KG, was established in Oberkirch in 1962, was founded
by Rolf Sander and Adolf Hättig. During the early
years, the company focused on building tooling for the
metal stamping industry. Later, presses were acquired
and stamping was done in-house.
By 1974 the company had outgrown ist Oberkirch plant
and so an new facility was built in Renchen-Ulm.
With increased capacity and demand, the company was
restructured to form the following 5 divisions:
- Tooling and Automation
- Metal Stamping and Bending
- Deep Drawing
- Fine Blanking
- Value-added Assemblies
